Motel California

In the 1977 Eagles hit song, “Hotel California” the band describes the lyrics of the song to represent their interpretation of the high life in Los Angeles. Motel California is our rendition of the life and stories that exist as a traveler passing through our border city. The cinematic nature of the shots resemble stills from a film reel. The series is set with a dismal backdrop of an aging motel and contrasted with an over-dressed couple. The story is up for interpretation… the photographer has left this tale untold and ready to be imagined.
